Students
Core Measures and Program Goals
Disciplined Warrior
Goal: Emotional Regulation & Physical Health
Students learn to master their minds and bodies, growing in the ability to manage emotions, make wise decisions, and respond to challenges with self-control. They also develop healthy habits that strengthen their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Biblical Connection:
Scripture teaches that discipline is part of honoring God. “Train yourself for godliness, for physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things.” (1 Timothy 4:7–8). Like an athlete in training (1 Corinthians 9:24–25), students practice consistency, self-control, and resilience so they can run the race of life with strength and purpose.
How we practice this:
Healthy coping strategies
Reflection through journaling and prayer
Consistency in discipline and routines
Healthy eating, sleep, and exercise
Courageous Servant
Goal: Community Engagement Through Service
Students grow as leaders by serving others. Through regular opportunities to give back, they learn that true leadership is not about power or position but about sacrifice and humility.
Biblical Connection:
Jesus modeled leadership through service. “The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45). To be great in God’s kingdom means to be a servant (Matthew 20:26–28). Students discover courage by stepping out to serve others, following Christ’s example of humility and boldness.
How we practice this:
Service projects (clean-ups, appreciation days, mentoring younger students)
Reflection on servant leadership
Celebrating service as leadership in action
Together, these two measures shape the heartbeat of Embody Youth Academy:
Disciplined Warriors who train body, mind, and spirit to live with strength and purpose.
Courageous Servants who step into leadership by humbly serving others.
